Multilayered Media Green’s Functions in Integral Equation Formulations

چکیده
A compact representation is given of the electricand magnetic-type dyadic Green’s functions for plane-stratified, multilayered, uniaxial media based on the transmission-line network analog along the axis normal to the stratification. Furthermore, mixed-potential integral equations are derived within the framework of this transmission-line formalism for arbitrarily shaped, conducting or penetrable objects embedded in the multilayered medium. The development emphasizes laterally unbounded environments, but an extension to the case of a medium enclosed by a rectangular shield is also included.

TM Electromagnetic Scattering from Multilayered Dielectric Bodies – Numerical Solution
An integral equation approach is derived for an electromagnetic scattering from an M multilayered dielectric domain. The integral equation is valid for 2D and 3D Helmholtz equation. Here we show the numerical solution for the 2D case by using the Nyström method. For validating the method we develop a mode matching method for the case when the domains are multilayered circular cylinders and give...

Integral equation formulation and magnetic potential Green’s dyadics for multilayered rectangular waveguide are presented for modeling interacting printed antenna arrays used in waveguidebased spatial power combiners. Dyadic Green’s functions are obtained as a partial eigenfunction expansion in the form of a double series over the complete system of eigenfunctions of transverse Laplacian operat...
متن کاملNonsingular Green’s Functions for Multi-Layer Homogeneous Microstrip Lines
In this article, three new green's functions are presented for a narrow strip line (not a thin wire) inside or on a homogeneous dielectric, supposing quasi-TEM dominant mode. These functions have no singularity in contrast to so far presented ones, so that they can be used easily to determine the capacitance matrix of multi-layer and single-layer homogeneous coupled microstrip lines. To obtain ...
